Into the night we went, we two,
Under the comfort of the moon. The sky was pale and the poplar-trees Swayed in the wind, Swayed and swung. And the dear night passed too soon! |

Date: 25 Dec 2022 Production: I scanned page 8 of Two in Arcadia, 1907 Brentanos, by Lucine Finch and redesigned each of the 6 color separations to facilitate printing and clarify the image. Using laserprints of each I coated blocks of unmounted linoleum [McClain's Printmaking Supplies] cut to size, with 10% mat gel medium / water and placed image face down. After drying thoroughly, I rubbed off the paper layer to preserve the carbon image. I cut each block and printed, one color per day until completed. $37.50 USD Shipping available USA $15.00 with tracking $750 MXN in the studio Page 8: 1907 overlay with 2024
I changed the sky to a turquoise color and heightened the contrast between foreground and horizon to suggest a body of water. |
